CLD 101
Human Development I
This foundation course examines the major theories and contemporary research findings of human development and provides a sound basis for the students' understanding of children and self. Emphasis is on the interdependency of all domains of development - physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional and the complex interaction of biological and environmental factors. Such development is considered in terms of adaptation to the diverse environments in which human beings live and focuses on children from birth through toddler-hood.
