GEO 575
Hydrology in a Changing World
The objective of this course is to provide students with a foundation in hydrology, including water quality, with a focus on human dominated environments. Topics include an assessment of the fundamental processes responsible for moving water and contaminants across landscapes, and the impacts of urbanization and agricultural intensification on water quantity and quality. The course will also explore the relationships between water science, water governance and water management at local to global scales.
