The professor, Allen Patrice, makes this course super intriguing and engaging. There was a 1,500-word final essay and a final project where we got to do ANYTHING we wanted related to any topic in the course. There's also a lot of interaction between students during the course and non-serious/ fun presentations. In summary, this course is not boring, and you'll have a fantastic time if you are genuinely interested in the Caribbean or Black Studies in general.
