LAW 607
Selected Topics in Law and Policy
This course is designed for students wishing to examine a policy or legal topic which may not be available through course offerings in a given year. It is suitable for students interested in gaining a deep understanding of the ways in which social, political and economic discursive frameworks are both shaped by, and a reflection of, the choice of legal instruments and the design of legal institutions. The student will develop a plan of study under the supervision of an assigned faculty member with expertise in the chosen subject field. This directed study course is normally intended for undergraduate students in their final year of study and graduate students. Departmental permission is required in order to enroll in this course.
