Marketing Metrics and Analysis
This course provides students with state-of-the-art contemporary demand and supply marketing metrics and analytic tools, such as marketing research, share of mind, margins and profits, product, sales force, and channel management, advertising media and web metrics to integrate marketing performance with the firm's strategic thrusts and corporate finances. Students are introduced to the case method as a model for critically analyzing situations and developing evidence-based, ethical decision-making skills using marketing theory and marketing metrics.

The most useful part of this course is the Marketplace Simulation. You run a company with a small group and compete with others in your class as everyone is in the same industry to make and sell the best version of your product. You learn how to analyze ratings and numbers and all sorts of metrics to stay competitive + have a budget to invest into your company in the form of research, product development, advertisements, and hiring staff.
In class, there are weekly quizzes. Do them. Do every attempt as only the highest counts. Use the quizzes to practise for your midterm and final as many questions are the exact same format.

Grading consists of a midterm, final, weekly online quizzes, and two group projects (a semester-long business simulation and a video). Midterm allowed a single handwritten double-sided study sheet and final allowed an excel sheet with anything in in which made it really easy. Quizzes allow you 3 attempts and take the highest score. Easiest part to do badly on are the group projects as video is marked mostly based on how "interesting" they are (which is entirely subjective) and simulation is a competition against 4 other groups so only one group can get 100.
