MTE 701
Real-Time Digital Control Systems Design
This course deals with the design and implementation of real-time digital control systems. Topics include: Discrete equivalent of continuous-time system representations (transfer function and state-space models). Stability analysis.Design of digital controllers: transform and state-space methods. Real-time system concepts. Concurrent programming for real-time implementation of digital control algorithms. Scheduling algorithms. Laboratory work will include experiments on real-time programming concepts and implementations of various digital control algorithms on an embedded controller.
