Indigenous Self-Determination
This course examines the social, cultural, political, legal, and historical context of Indigenous self-determination in Canada. It will examine the evolution of Indigenous resistance, resurgence and political mobilization around the defense of Indigenous sovereignty, jurisdiction and nation-building. Laws and policies affecting Indigenous rights will also be examined. (Canadian)
