Video Games and Culture
This course explores the intersection of video games and culture. Students will analyze video games as cultural artifacts, studying their evolution and impact on society, and examining the historical, social, and cultural contexts in which video games are created, consumed, and interpreted. Topics covered may include representation and diversity in games, gaming communities, and the relationship between video games and other media.
