Ideas, Tech and Precedents III
This course provides a global view of architecture and urbanism in the increasingly industrialized world from the 19th century to the present day. This historical and theoretical overview focuses on architectural examples from the various traditions and events that shaped the heterogeneous world we live in today. Topics are explored through lectures, group discussions, and a variety of media, including numerous primary sources. Students will engage critically with architecture and history through research and writing.
